Our family-run business is committed to building ideal relationships with customers, employees, and communities by crafting some of our industry’s most innovative and trusted tools.   The Director of Operations is a key leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, profitability, and overall operational excellence while overseeing the daily management of Operations, Distribution, and Logistics for Ideal Electrical. This role leads the operational strategy planning and creation, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive productivity and meet organizational goals. This position is responsible for setting the direction and achieving results through the entire Operations, Distribution, and Logistics Teams. This must be accomplished in an environment where safety is first while instilling a focused continuous improvement culture that achieves results in quality, 6S, service levels, productivity, cost reductions and delivery performance. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources effectively, and implement best practices to enhance overall operational performance. This position must partner with employees, business units, functional areas, customers, and suppliers to align activities with established business objectives. All of this must be done in alignment with our mission, vision, values, and strategy. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing operation are essential for success in this pivotal role. This position will report directly to the General Manager.
