Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, Microsoft Data Fabric, and the M365 platform to join our team. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions across the enterprise while ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in platform administration, instance management, and cloud cost optimization aligning technical design with business goals. .

 

  • Platform Administration: Oversee the administration and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, and M365 platforms to ensure seamless integration, functionality, and security across the enterprise.
  • Instance Management: Manage the lifecycle of cloud instances, including provisioning, monitoring, scaling, and decommissioning to meet business needs.
  • Architecture Design: Develop and implement cloud architecture strategies that align with organizational goals, focusing on high availability, disaster recovery, and compliance.
  • Cloud Cost Optimization: Analyze cloud expenditures and implement strategies to minimize costs while maintaining operational efficiency and performance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and assess system performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues to ensure consistent uptime and reliability.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security, privacy, and compliance of cloud solutions, adhering to industry standards, Ideal Security Operations Policies, and regulations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, IT support, and business stakeholders, to deliver cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Documentation and Training: Create detailed documentation for systems and processes and provide training to relevant personnel for effective platform utilization.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, and M365 platform administration.
  • Proven expertise in cloud architecture and instance lifecycle management.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies and tools.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards for cloud environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals are highly desirable.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments and migration strategies.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning integration within cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with ITSM tools and processes.

 

Working Conditions & Expectations

  • Occasional travel to regional sites and data centers
  • Participation in on-call and after-hours support as needed
  • Ability to lift 40–50 lbs occasionally for hardware deployments

 

The expected annual salary for this position is between $108,120.00 and $145,696.00 and will be eligible for incentive pay. This range represents a good faith estimate for the position and actual compensation will be based on numerous factors including knowledge, location, skills, training and experience.
