IDEAL interns are provided the opportunity to develop and apply practical skills under the mentorship of subject matter experts in a professional work environment. This includes purposeful connection to intern education and the application of academic theory through relevant, hands-on experience in project management, research, design, data collection and analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement, with a variety of both independent and team-based activities.

The Graphic Design Intern will support the creative team by contributing to key projects such as short-form content creation, photo resizing, and digital asset organization. They will assist with immediate-turnaround designs and sneak peek campaigns, while also gaining hands-on experience in photo and video capture. This role offers the opportunity to develop real-world design skills, contribute to impactful marketing initiatives, and play a vital role in maintaining a cohesive and engaging brand presence.

Responsibilities. Specify what will be done in this role (modify as applicable):

• Photo Resizing: Ensure images meet platform-specific requirements for optimal quality and consistency.
• Short-form Capture & Editing: Assist in creating and editing engaging short-form content for digital and social media platforms.
• Immediate Intake Designs: Quickly produce high-quality designs for rapid-turnaround needs
• Photo/Video Capture: Gain foundational skills in capturing professional photo and video content.

Sneak Peek Design Support: Create event materials and assist with content capture to ensure cohesive branding and successful execution of influencer events.

Requirements. Specify key knowledge, skills, abilities, and education (modify as applicable):

• Pursuing degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Premiere Pro or After Effects a plus).
• Knowledge of design principles, social media content requirements, and basic photo/video editing techniques
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks for quick turnarounds.
• Creative problem-solving, adaptability, and effective collaboration in a team environment.
