The Product Manager specializing in Data Communications (Datacom) will spearhead the management and development of our datacom connector solutions. This role plays a pivotal part in aligning product strategies with market demands, ensuring seamless integration within Information and Communication Technology (ICT) equipment and beyond.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate in the formulation and execution of the product strategy and roadmap for connector solutions, leveraging insights from market analysis, customer feedback, and technological advancements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to define product requirements, prioritize features, and drive product development initiatives.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancement and differentiation within the Datacom sector.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the performance and success of our connector systems, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies, sales enablement materials, and promotional campaigns tailored to Datacom customers.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Datacom technologies and industry standards, offering guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders as needed.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements relevant to Datacom products, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
• Foster strong relationships with customers and partners, gathering valuable feedback and insights to drive continuous product improvement and innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or MBA is advantageous.
• Proven track record of 5+ years in product management roles, with a focus on Data Communications (Datacom) products.
• In-depth understanding of Datacom technologies, protocols, and standards, with prior experience in power distribution systems preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product strategies, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans effectively.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Results-driven approach with a proven ability to drive projects to successful completion in a dynamic environment.
• Up to 20% travel required as the need arises.
