  • Overview


    The Customer Success Manager is responsible for all aspects of the sales support functions, including customer service, pricing/quoting, VMI, MAP, sales reporting, data analytics, market analysis and agreement administration.



    • Oversees the Customer Service department to ensure proper response time, lead-time management and customer support.
    • Drive efficiency in the customer service function that takes advantage of newest automated technologies. Analyze cost effectiveness and prioritize investments of any recommended technology changes.
    • Ensures timely reporting functions and market data gathering and analysis.
    • Leads and maintains the analytics, pricing and sales performance metrics functions.
    • Analyze and improve end user data collection to provide VP of Sales with actionable information for future planning and sales deployment.
    • Oversees the management and growth of the VMI and MAP pricing functions.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvements and work with sales management and field sales to identify bottlenecks and inconsistencies and then implement changes to remove barriers.
    • Lead implementation of sales automation to include CRM, SharePoint, and other digital technologies and mobility tools for field sales in order to support selling time maximization.
    • Adjust and communicate changes in customer programs, pricing, and transactional policies to both internal and external customers.
    • Ensure proper administration of and compliance with the various agreements, rebate programs, and special pricing agreements (SPA)
    • Represent ED Sales Channel on various internal teams as requested by VP Sales.
    • Provide VP Sales with data to determine sales role changes, coverage territories, or team configurations in order to improve sales efficiency.



    • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or related field.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of sales support, sales management and/or sales planning experience, and knowledge of sales efficiencies and effectiveness tools and protocols.
    • Solid analytic skills including advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables and macros) and ability to mine data for actionable recommendations.
    • Knowledge and experience with CRM applications and entire suite of Microsoft Office applications.
    • Experience marketing through distributors
