    IDEAL INDUSTRIES, Inc. newest business unit PowerPuck Solutions is looking for a Marketing Specialist to head up PowerPuck’s marketing efforts as the business scales. The PowerPuck System provides greater access to power in crowded public spaces, efficiently using the existing electrical infrastructure and eliminate the often broken public outlets and USB ports. Able to charge 30+ devices at full power off a single system, the PowerPuck Solution solves the problem of low battery anxiety.

    Responsibilities

    Digital Marketing Campaigns

    • Develop digital and email marketing strategies across multiple customer groups to help achieve company goals
    • Develop and oversee ongoing email and advertising programs that drive awareness of PowerPuck’s brand and engages end users
    • Set up and manage day-to-day trigger campaigns
    • Develop and report on KPIs, including recommendations to modify strategies based on results

     

    Social Media

    • Develop and manage PowerPuck’s overall social media engagement
    • Maintain and create content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other platforms
    • Provide analytical measuring and reporting
    • Provide voice of PowerPuck response to followers to ensure positive customer experiences

     

    Website

    • Develop strategies to drive online traffic to PowerPuck’s website, including goals and metrics to track effectiveness.
    • Oversee maintenance of the PowerPuck website, including ensuring the website meets brand standards, digital content is current and relevant and executing targeted marketing campaigns leveraging data analytics
    • Create and publish content and update site as needed
    • Oversee eCommerce sales, providing guidance on analytics and recommendations to improve conversion.
    • Provide recommendations on improving the user experience, design, content, and conversion on PowerPuck’s website. Lead and execute project plan of improvements agreed upon.
    • Manage SEO and other analytical measuring tools to optimize site content and traffic

     

    Day to Day Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage marketing projects and ensure objectives are met, projects stay on budget, and metrics are met
    • Manage relationships with vendors to ensure they provide services that meet all quality, timing and budgetary expectations
    • Execute promotional events and campaigns with external vendors and internal resources
    • In partnership with Product Management, develop and execute marketing plans for new product/feature launches
    • Develop and manage annual marketing and advertising calendars
    • Manage all tradeshows for PowerPuck, including evaluation of tradeshows, logistics, show preparation, development of marketing materials and on-site support as needed
    • Oversee planning and development of product merchandising
    • Additional projects as assigned

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field required, or the equivalent in experience
    • Must be proficient/native user of digital media (social media, web, ecommerce)
    • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts and strategies.
    • 3-5 years of professional experience working with e-Commerce systems
    • 3-5 years of professional experience in web development
    • Proficient in Adobe Campaign and Magento
    • Experience with Google AdWords / Facebook advertising preferred
    • Must have ability to travel within the US on occasion
    • Proven ability to effectively manage a budget
    • HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite preferred
