SK is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician.


    • Analyze, debug, repair and improve machines electrically and mechanically providing production departments with efficient, safe, and well documented equipment.
    • Repair/rebuild upgrades to electrical equipment and PLC’s including machine electrical panel construction.
    • Reduce operations costs through smart purchasing of electrical and factory supplies.
    • Cost effectively improve processes and equipment with innovative and creative lean thinking.
    • Cost effectively design, install, service and maintain factory electrical service, air service and water service.
    • Provide effective technical leadership and communication as parts of the operations technical staff.
    • Perform preventive maintenance.
    • Provide safety system leadership and support. Provide equipment that is safe to operate following accepted safety guarding practices.
    • Research, train with, and implement new technologies and process that will continuously improve SK Hand Tool Operations.




    • PLC programming and troubleshooting ability.
    • Knowledge of and ability to apply the NFPA National Electric Code to Factory Electrical Systems and Machine Control Panels.
    • Ability to document PLC programs, create electrical diagrams and drawings and write operation sequences electrically.
    • Extensive knowledge of electrical and electronic equipment.
    • Ability to complete intermediately complex mechanical repairs.
    • Good communication & inter-personnel skills with the ability to provide technical leadership.
    • Ability to work effectively with all SK teams.
    • Completed LOTO training and be safety conscious.
    • Must be able to drive a fork truck and ceiling lift.
    • Must be able to climb a 32-foot ladder and occasionally lift 60 pounds.


    • 7 years minimum full-time experience doing the above
    • 2-year associates degree in an electrical/electronic program desired
