    IDEAL INDUSTRIES is looking for a passionate Electronic Technician work on products/technology produced by the IDEAL Technology Business's. As part of the Audacy Wireless Services and PowerPuck team, this person is expected to be a significant contributor as new product is developed and existing products are refined.

    • Provide technical assistance to the AWS Engineering group.
    • Assist in Building prototype samples for mechanical and electrical testing
    • Perform appropriate electrical, electronic, mechanical, and environmental testing of products or components as required/requested in accordance with safe laboratory practices.
    • Perform tests on equipment operating at 208 volts and currents exceeding 50 Amps
    • Utilize Experimental fixtures to conduct testing.
    • Operate mechanical, crimping, cutting, and pulling equipment.
    • Assist in determining and developing test requirements for products and components of an electronic nature.
    • Determine, develop, and procure equipment and supplies required to set up functional tests.
    • Report findings to appropriate personnel including Engineers and Managers.
    • Participates in Team, new product, and problem solving meetings as directed or requested.


    • Experience with reading 2-dimensional drawings.
    • Ability to use laboratory equipment, such as dielectric testers, voltmeters, amp meters, force gages, crimping dies, and similar equipment.
    • Computer proficiency, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, email tools and similar software.
    • Must have demonstrated communication skills (both written and verbal).
    • Demonstrated ability to problem solve
    • Bachelor’s degree highly desired.
    • At least 2 years of progressive experience working with technical drawings and/or test lab equipment
    • This position requires repetitive reaching, stretching, lifting and twisting
