This position reports directly to the Tool Division Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Coordinator role administers human resource-related programs and processes for a manufacturing facility with professional, production, technical, and administrative employees. This is your opportunity to leverage your experience and help build the programs that support our talented, dedicated workforce.

    Responsibilities

    The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the planning, organizing and execution of numerous operational human resources-related activities including:

    • Business Partner - Serve as a key member of the team to assist in driving business results. Support the implementation of people and organizational development strategies that are aligned with the business strategy.
    • HRIS Administration - Maintain various HR systems to ensure continued operations and reporting efficiency, and resolves problems. Generate routine reports and design special reports as requested. Research system capabilities, streamline processes and recommend new data management processes/procedures that match organizational needs.
    • Administration & Compliance – Coordinate benefits and leave management programs (including workers compensation) and government compliance reporting. Maintain employee records, including entering, updating and modifying information as needed. Review time cards to ensure accurate employee payroll.
    • Talent Acquisition - Support the hiring process by posting jobs, screening candidate resumes and coordinating the new hire on-boarding process. Coordinate all temporary staffing requirements.
    • Employee Relations - Assist in building an open, inclusive, IDEAL culture-based environment that enables effective employee relations.   Ensure role is perceived as an objective employee resource for employee relations issues.   Respond to inquiries about policies, procedures and programs.

    Qualifications

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
    • 2 - 3 years HR experience, including employee relations, leave administration and recruiting
    • Previous experience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment
    • Must be able to handle confidential matters and communicate in a professional and tactful manner
    • Demonstrated experience improving programs and processes
